Used Cars Simulator tasks you with building an automotive enterprise from an abandoned shed into a luxury dealership. Developed by DreamWay Games, progression follows a structured quest storyline split into Season 1 and Season 2. Completing the main narrative requires balancing legal vehicle restoration with underground theft jobs, time trials, and salvage operations across the map.
Season 1 Story Walkthrough
Season 1 introduces the core gameplay loop: towing, stripping, repairing, hotwiring, and marketing used vehicles.
Unusual Request & Business Opportunity
The campaign begins at the local bar:
- Speak with the lady in red inside the bar.
- Exit, get into the vehicle parked out front, and ramp-jump it.
- Report back to the lady, then talk to the bartender for advice.
- Collect 45 scrap pieces and report to the contact known as the badass.
- Thank the bartender and speak to the man seated in the corner.
- Order and consume the burger and beer, accept the man's offer, and use the restroom.
- Drive the car onto the tow truck ramp, retract the ramp, deliver the vehicle to the Power Station, and speak with your mentor.
First Trade: Setting Up the Shed
Your headquarters is an old shed that must be cleared and branded:
- Walk to the shed door and remove the wooden planks.
- Pick up and dispose of the trash around the property.
- Access the sign to select your dealership brand name and color palette.
- Return to the Power Station contact, open your map, and buy your first vehicle.
- Drive the car into the shed bay and activate the checkup mode to identify damaged or missing components.
- Open your office computer, navigate to the Shop, filter by your specific car model, select the missing part category, and order the component.
- Take a nap on the bed to skip time until the delivery arrives.
- Unpack the package, attach the part, gather required scrap, and use the hammer to repair body damage to at least 2%.
- Open the computer, go to Sell Car, set your price, take 3 listing photos, and submit the listing.
- Sleep to pass time, accept the incoming offer, and deliver the car to complete the transaction.
Scrap is the New Gold & New Opportunities
- Talk to the Power Station mentor, visit the Hardware Store, and buy a shovel and metal detector.
- Use the detector and shovel to dig up scrap pieces at Scrap Francisco.
- Head to the Scrapyard to trade scrap materials and talk to Daniel.
- Travel to Lake Camp and speak with the Camp Boss.
- Head to Rainyvale and smash the Trailer Park Leader's vehicle until it sustains 25% damage.
- Return to the Camp Boss. Purchase a lockpick, a hotwire kit suited for the Sportwagen Wolf, an angle grinder, and matching replacement plates.
- Pick the lock on the target Sportwagen Wolf, hotwire the ignition, grind off the factory plate, attach the clean plate, and drive it away.
- Deliver the stolen vehicle and pay the Camp Boss his $1,000 cut. If you run out of funds after police interactions, visit the Gas Station and clean the dirty vehicle parked behind the building to earn $1,000.
From Wreck to Gem & Entering the Rich District
- Drive your tow truck to the assigned wreck. Lower the ramp, hook the winch cable to the frame, winch the wreck onto the flatbed, detach the cable, and raise the ramp.
- Haul the wreck to the Body Shop. Reverse onto the drop zone, lower the ramp, attach the winch, push the wreck into the repair bay, and use the body shop services to strip rust.
- Install an engine into the car, bring overall vehicle condition up to 90%, and drop it off at Daniel's Scrapyard.
- Complete intermediate reputation tasks: amass $5,000 in cash, purchase the shed property, and buy 3 shed facility upgrades.
- Talk to the bartender regarding access to the Rich District, purchase the commercial car store, and successfully flip 3 vehicles through your dealership to open the gated checkpoint.
Season 2 Walkthrough: The Velvet Circuit
Season 2 expands your operations into the Rich District, introducing engine swaps, container heists, and government contracts.
The Velvet Circuit: Parts 1 to 3
- Engine Swap Commission: Speak with the Rich District Mayor. Upgrade to a heavy-duty tow truck, load the target car onto your shop lift, switch to the Engine Swap tab, install Engine 5, and deliver the car to the Trailer Park Leader for a $15,000 payout.
- Time Attacks & Governor Contract: Speak to the Mayor. Wait for dealership lots to refresh at midnight and purchase cars in the Rich District. Complete the "North loop 11" and "The drowned timber knot 8" Time Attack events. Speak with the Governor, acquire a MissleBishi Evil, transport it to the lift, swap its motor to Engine 11, and return it to the Governor for $150,000.
- Piat Funto Theft: Return to the Mayor. Stock up on lockpicks and 4 Piat Funto-compatible hotwire kits. Break into the target vehicle, bypass the ignition, grind off the registration plate, and deliver the car to the tinsmith's assistant to collect $10,000.
The Velvet Circuit: Parts 4 and 5
- Governor's Restoration: Drive your tow truck out to the remote wreck. Winch it onto the deck, transport it to the Body Shop, pull it onto the lift area, remove all rust, install the designated engine, and deliver the finished build to the Governor for $30,000.
- Document Recovery: Speak to the Mayor and Governor, then tow away the wrecks littering the Rich District to collect a $10,000 hauling fee.
- Search the trunk compartments of the Koyota Bueno and Cash Dillac.
- Locate the Mord Fustang wreck, open it to claim the hidden documents, and haul the car to the Body Shop.
- Grind away rust to restore the Mord Fustang to at least 70% condition, then drive it to the Mayor.
- Present the recovered documents, enter the Governor's car, drive through the police checkpoint, report to the Mayor to earn $100,000, and purchase the Villa.

Secret Photo Spots & Collectibles
Used Cars Simulator features hidden points of interest and collectibles tied to Steam achievements and quest exploration.
Secret Photography Locations
- The Bunker Door: Head into the desert cliffs near the garage area. Locate a rusted wreck sitting in a ditch along the rock wall. Jump into the narrow cliff gap behind the wreck. Advance forward, jump across the deep rock chasm (caution: falling into this gap traps you, requiring a reset), continue past the stone pillar, vault onto the raised ledge to your left, pass through the narrow opening on the right, and photograph the steel bunker entrance directly ahead.
- Graffiti Carriage: Locate the train tracks and photograph the spray-painted carriage car.
- Wall of Fame: Position yourself before the highway tunnel entrance and photograph the large wall mural.
- The Bomb: Travel to the abandoned city zone and take a photo of the unexploded ordinance.
Rubber Duck Collectibles
To register rubber ducks for the "Find All 3 Rubber Ducks" achievement, walk up to each duck and pick it up into your hands:
- Bar Roof: Climb the exterior ladder located on the south side of the starting bar. The duck sits next to the large duck mural on the roof.
- Supermarket: Enter the main grocery store, look up toward the ceiling ventilation shafts, and reach the duck located in the duct opening on the right.
- Lake Gazebo: Travel down to the water shoreline and inspect the wooden gazebo platform sitting beside the lake.
Troubleshooting Common Quest Roadblocks
Port Container 420
During shipping-related assignments, the objective tracker directs you to the industrial docks. Look for the container painted with identification number 420. Equip the angle grinder tool to slice through the heavy locking chain before attempting to open the doors.
"You Can't Steal This Car" in Engine Quests
In restoration quests such as "From Wreck to Gem" (or "From Wreck to Pearl"), do not install upgraded or aftermarket motors before the quest log explicitly updates to prompt the engine installation. If an incorrect engine is mounted early and the game blocks tool interaction, drive or tow the vehicle directly onto the lift inside the professional mechanic or body shop to reconfigure the engine bay.
Garage Brand Renaming Freeze
When interacting with the shed office terminal to rename your business brand, some players experience an interface lock where the UI cannot be closed. To prevent this, equip the hammer tool in your hand, stow it back to bare hands, and make sure the exterior shed garage doors are fully opened before entering the brand modification menu.
